The origin

My journey began at the anvil, forging knives where form and function had to live in balance. Over time, the layered patterns of steel drew me deeper into mokume gane — and from there, into rings that carry the same spirit in a new form

I believe a ring should be more than worn — it should be lived with. That’s why most of my work is custom, crafted for one person, never to be repeated. Every commission is a collaboration, and every finished piece carries both my heritage at the forge and your story.

At Inglis Mokume, we craft rings using the art of mokume gane, where layers of precious metals are fused to reveal organic, wood-grain patterns. Every ring is individually made, ensuring a piece that’s as unique as your story
