Most of my work is one of one. No templates, no repeats, every ring is designed and forged from scratch, shaped by the story and materials you bring to it. Here's how the process works, from first conversation to finished piece.
The Process
1. Consultation We start with a conversation — about the occasion, the style you're drawn to, and the materials that mean something to you. Send inspiration photos, sketches, or even just a feeling you're going for.
2. Design & Materials I'll put together a design concept and a materials plan (metals, patterns, finish) tailored to your budget and vision. This is where the mokume gane pattern — the layered, wood-grain effect — really gets decided.
3. Deposit & Commission Once you're happy with the design, a deposit secures your place in my workshop queue and confirms the commission.
4. Making Each ring is forged, layered, and finished by hand. I'll share progress photos along the way so you can see it come to life.
5. Fitting & Delivery Final sizing, finishing touches, and your ring is on its way to you — with care instructions and the story of how it was made
